RETURNS
Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If you feel you need to return a piece, please contact Iron & Wolf. I do not accept returns on damaged pieces. Return shipping is the buyers' responsibility.
REPAIRS
If your piece needs a repair within 30 days of purchase because of a defect on my behalf I will repair it free of charge, however if there is damage from normal wear and tear or some accidental cause, given it can be repaired, please contact Iron & Wolf to discuss.
All of my jewelry is made by hand: each piece is hand cut, hand shaped, and created with love and intention. No two pieces will ever be the same because that would be impossible using the techniques I use.
Please keep in mind that I do my best to take quality photos, however sometimes colors and sizes will look a tiny bit off from what they actually are, but I will do my best to mention this when I notice.
JEWELRY CARE
The more you love and wear your jewelry the more bright and shiny it stays. But our beloved jewelry still needs to be taken care of from time to time.
In order to achieve a long lifespan of your jewelry, keep adjustments to a minimum. Excessive bending can cause metal to weaken and break.
Remove jewelry before showering, sleeping, swimming, exercising or applying any moisturizers or fragrances. Do not expose to continuous moisture or heat.
All Iron & Wolf designs are composed of the solid metal. No plating is used.
Metal is a natural material from Mama Earth and it is in its nature to patina over time. If you want to keep your jewelry bright and shiny see below for some tips for specific metals.
STERLING SILVER
Sterling silver is a bright and beautiful precious metal with a long life span. The more you love and wear your sterling silver the more bright and shiny it stays. Tarnish can occur when sterling silver comes in contact with the oxygen in the air. If you are not wearing your sterling silver pieces every day, it is best to store in a resealable plastic bag or airtight container. If you do see some tarnishing, you can polish it with a jewelry polishing cloth, I recommend using Sunshine Cloths to brighten it right up!
BRONZE
I use a yellow bronze alloy for all my bronze pieces that has a beautiful golden tone similar to 14k yellow gold. Both bronze and brass are alloys of copper. The high copper content in brass and bronze can cause it to darken over time. This is primarily due to a reaction to water and humidity. Some people, depending on their personal PH balance, experience a green coloring to the skin when it comes in contact with bronze and brass. This is perfectly harmless and is due to the copper content. If you prefer to avoid the dark patina to the metal, try to keep your bronze and brass as dry as possible. Take your ring off when washing your hands and dry your hands thoroughly before putting your ring back on. You can also coat the inside of the ring with a clear nail polish to form a barrier between your skin and the ring. If tarnish begins to occur, a Sunshine Cloth can be used for touch ups. For a bright shine, it is easiest to use a commercial polish like Brasso to restore your piece to its original luster. Make sure to keep Brasso away from any stones.
